Curtain Cleaning Explained

Curtain dry cleaning is the safest way to clean all fine fabrics and soft furnishings. This can be carried out as part of our curtain cleaning in situ service or as part of our take down and rehang service.
For optimum convenience, we bring a mobile curtain cleaning machine to your home or venue so there is no need to be without your curtains as they can be cleaned whilst the are still hanging.
Dry cleaning is great for curtains, pelmets, swags, tails and Roman blinds, and takes care of delicate fabrics such as velvet, velour, satin and silk.
Steam cleaning, or hot water extraction, is a deep cleaning method where warm water and a curtain cleaning solution are used in conjunction with a mobile cleaning machine.
This method isn’t suitable for all curtain fabrics though – we’ll check and confirm once we are in front of the curtains in question.
All our cleaning methods gently and effectively remove dirt, dust, grime, smoke, bacteria and allergens with no shrinkage.
We also offer curtain stain removal – please ask us about this service.
After cleaning, we re-dress your curtains to put the shape back in so they look beautiful again.
Curtain tracks are serviced every time free of charge, with silicone added to help the tracks glide smoothly.
